About

I have a PhD in biomedical engineering from the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University, and a BS in biomedical engineering with a minor in mathematics from Virginia Commonwealth University. In both academia and industry, I have gained diverse expertise: from probing molecular interactions of a single muscle cell with its substrate, to presenting the clinical benefits of a novel medical device to wound care professionals. I approach problems “from the cell up,” to show both the what and the how of biomedical innovations.

In my spare time, I enjoy singing, playing guitar, gardening, and walking in nature.
